Interesting article at Newsweek is talking about the struggle game developers and casual portals have to fight to monetize 145 million casual gaming crowd. It wants to play but very few of them actually buy. The article provides a few numbers from new-media research firm Interpret. Casual gamers play 5.1 hours each week, up 28 percent from the year before. The research also states that casual gamers are 22 percent more likely to find product information online and 35 percent more likely to change brands.
